Rick Emerson interviews Aaron Cronan and Matt Hopkins – creators of Cognition: The Robot Uprise – on Outlook Portland.
Part1
Super fun interview of Aaron on Rick Emerson’s show. (Unfortunately Matt had to work). Rick Emerson Show Archive
Having been a long time fan of Rick since the KUFO days, this was a real treat. They talk about the comic, a fresh take on the impending robot apocalypse, Matt’s awesome art and how Aaron would dispose of a body.
Fun article about the Bridge City Comics signing at Portland Comic Books Examiner

Thanks to Christian Lipski for the story.
Willamette Week’s Casey Jarman wrote some pretty cool stuff about the comic (and the music). Take a look: WW-Review .
Cognition: The Robot Uprise Release PartyIt would be easy to launch a bad comic about a wayward, skinny-jeans-and-hoodie-clad robot who loves kittens and hates most humans. Writer Aaron Cronan and artist Matthew Hopkins—working, for the moment, without the support of a publisher or even a sugar daddy—are crafting what is shaping up to be a very good one. The striking first issue will be available to early adopters today, with a celebratory after-party show at Mississippi Studios (yes, the emo comic book robot has a real-life, Starfucker-esque band—and it’s not bad).

We have had amazing support from Portland podcasts. Today Cort and Fatboy had us on their show. We have been fans of theirs for years. Check out the episode at CortandFatboy. Among other things, we discuss the comic release party at Bridge City Comics and Mississippi Studio this Sunday (June 19th).
We also had a blast on the Dangerous Kids podcast a few weeks ago. Check it out at Dangerous Kids .
